More a test than anything else

For whatever reason, RAWs in portrait orientation transferred back after upgrading to Win7 aren't oriented correctly when viewing through Explorer. New ones start out right, but after editing with ViewNX aren't, either. The jpegs are in the right orientation. Lots of folks have tried to solve this, most haven't been successful, and a few indicated that when they uploaded their jpegs, they were oriented incorrectly. So here's where I find out how lucky I am...
