ou know when you see something and then the image you want pops in your head and then you try to make htat image a reality and more often then not end up hitting the delete button? This took a few tries but I am finally somewhat pleased with it

It's easy to see why you would be. Very well done, Bambi.

Very cool shot, Bambi. I like the layers in this one too. The bright patch on the other side of the trees makes it quite interesting.

I love this too Bambi. I favourited it on Flickr but got beaten to the nomination here. Love the lines, tones and depth and it is just a lovely winter scene

Just beautiful Bambi. I can see colour would pale in comparison to this rendering. Amazing detail, and perfect scene to represent winter.

Terrific image, and beautifully done! That's a real winner. The upper left side of the tree trunk on the extreme left of the image gets a bit lost into the background - wonder if making it stand out a bit more by brightening the edge of the shot a bit more would be an improvement? Even still, I love this shot.

thank you guys. Doug- that's a good idea. I played with the idea of removing it altogether but didn't try brightening it. thanks.

I like this image! It reminds me of an old lithograph or something.
I am glad you kept it!
