Looking for Shelter

I was on my way back to the office at that point. It'd gotten cold enough to turn back a little early, even if I was craving some time outside.

I can see shelter ... it's across that expanse of snow :)

Um, that's ice. You try it. The pond might or might not have been frozen enough. Until the day before, things had warmed up a little, and it's not that big a pond.
