Going through some cd's and came upon some shots from a walk around. I always like this..why I can' t really say. Nothing special in the photo. These tires are attached to the dock.

We have a contest going on and thought I may throw this one in it. Love to hear anything!!!

Well Im going to offer up my critique. Nice shot. I really like the texture in this. The tires that are in focus are really make this image for me. It leaves me thinking it would be much more captivating if all the tires were in the same focus. That would require a longer exposure, and that would ruin the texture of the water which you perfectly captured. So, good job. Not sure what to really critique here.

I'm a fan of gentle/pastel colours in a photography, at least when they dominate and create the overall feel of the shot anyhow. I think that's what immediately appeals to me. I guess it gives off a soft/quite feel.

I'm not a fan of sloped water though and with those rings in the water I think I'd prefer it orientated properly.

I see old tyres and immediately can smell the dirty rubber which usually makes photos with old tyres in them less appealing to me and in this case that stands. I might need therapy ;)
