The McDougall Stoney Mission Church was built in 1875 by Reverend George McDougall and stands as the oldest building on the original site in Alberta.

Pretty well sums it up for me. The shadows across the path are nice too.

Wow! Nice sky, nice leading lines and it looks like you crouched down to the level of the top rail....nice touch.

The fence, it is not about the fence as much as it is about the time of day you chose to maximize the graphics of the shadow of the fence. The added character of the movement, texture, and quality of that line speaks to the viewer to draw them right into the door of that iconic little church. Some rules have been skillfully broken here, Rule of Thirds, "dawn or dusk", horizon line. In my thoughts your choice of those broken rules adds so much to this image. Right down the middle and horizon in the middle, so happy to see the impact of these decisions. When it feels right, it's right, but that's just my opinion. Now excuse me, I need to walk that path.

Beautiful shot! As others have mentioned, I love that shadow line down the centre of the path and the contrasting yellow and blue colours of the land and sky.

Love this one CB. The comp. is just so perfect with the low perspective, and those amazing shadows/leading lines draw the eye so well into that beautiful scene. The contrasting colour of that bold background really makes the foreground pop also. Hope you are framing this one.

Fabulous comp. That perspective really draws your eye right to the church.
