Several others already posted photos here of this new statue in Calgary called Wonderland, placed in front of the tallest building in Western Canada, The Bow. The artist is a well known Spanish sculptor, Jaume Plensa, and its name is reference to Alice in Wonderland, although I can't tell if it's a man or a woman, girl or boy, myself. What I found most intriguing is the way it appears suddenly as you turn a corner or walk down the street, or drive in front of it. I couldn't help but turn and stare. It looks different every time I've been there, depending on the light (as photographers know). I was a bit afraid to walk inside, but sometime....

1. Maybe it's Onederland

Cool shots, Mike. When I first saw it, I was like, "Woah! how cool is that?" Love the first shot. That is an angle I have not seen before so I am going to have to go back there and have another look around. :)

#2 with that reflection is soooooo cool, and love that last one with the dark background and the lighting. Very well done, and a new perspective on this sculpture that I really like.
