Hi members!

Any suggestions for the regular and level 2 assignments this month?

Thx!

Vanishing perspective might be a fun one or even "Making Something from Nothing" as seen here:
Something From Nothing | oopoomoo (http://oopoomoo.com/category/something-from-nothing/)

Both of Casils ideas work for me.

I dont know if it has been done before, but what about frames / framing

I don't want to steal Oopoomoo's thunder on this one - they are in the middle of this right now so might be more appropriate in a few months.

I do like Vanishing perspective for level 2 and frames/framing for the regular assignment.

Thx!

Okay members the suggestions have been merged and the regular assignment this month is Frames or Framing.
This usually implies the that there is some type of 'frame' that surrounds or acts as a border to the images.
I actually recorded a podcast on this a few years ago (WITH EXAMPLE IMAGES) if anyone wants to look and/or listen Framing in photography – photography podcast #10 | Photography.ca (http://www.photography.ca/blog/2007/01/29/framing-in-photography-photography-podcast-10/)

Okay then who will post first?

(the level 2 assignment this month is here (http://www.photography.ca/Forums/level-2-photography-assignments/20075-april-2013-vanishing-point-perspective.html))

Thanks Jason, Marko. I've been wanting to get a picture of this underpass for a while, and with this months assignment it gave me the incentive to actually do it. I shot it like I was going to have to make it an HDR (bracketed 3 shots) However by waiting until the sun went behind a cloud I managed to accomplish this by only using only one picture, thanks to the extra latitude in RAW.

Now that I'm getting out more as the weather improves I find it easier to play along with the challenges :)

Here's a couple of more for this one...

frame in a frame is a good one asnow.
Iggy the comp with the jogger is fab and I really dig the soulful expression and comp in the violin image.

Thanks Marko. I spotted this one a week ago but I only took a picture for reference sake. On Sunday, the forecast was for it to be cloudy. with rain. Thought I could then manage this pic without HDR. It didn't rain but by waiting for the sun to go behind the clouds I managed to do a non HDR. The person walking also cooperated by being there at that moment.

Iggy - Nicely spotted and great timing to get runner at just the right monent for perfect framing.

Thanks, Marko.

Thanks, asnow. Fun fact, one single shot. I didn't use burst mode ;)
