Getting ready to stop drumming and get back into shooting again and to celebrate that idea I bought another bower lens. This one is an f3.5 8mm fisheye. At f8 on down it's tack sharp and requires no focusing. Anyway this is a test shot of the interior of my car.

Image quality looks pretty good actually. I'm sure you'll find some creative uses for it.

Another test shot. It has a 180% field of view so you can almost see end to end of the apartment.

Pretty cool, I like the distortion you get with the lens.

It's made in Korea under many names. The Samyang is reportedly $299. I got the Bower for $349 at London Drugs. It's manual aperture and focus.

Have the same lens under the Samyang name. It is a fun little lens and tack sharp as Michael says.

Oops! I totally lied to you. I have the lens under the Rokinon name. Here is where I got it but by the time you pay shipping to Canada it would end up being the same as you paid, Michael. As far as I know London Drugs did not have it when i bought mine. Anyway, here it is:

Rokinon 8mm f/3.5 Aspherical Fisheye Manual Focus Lens (for Nikon Cameras) (http://www.cameta.com/Rokinon-8mm-f-3-5-Aspherical-Fisheye-Manual-Focus-Lens-for-Nikon-Cameras-43179.cfm)

Yes this lens is released under many names but for the money, according to Ken Rockwell, it blows lenses costing four times as much clean out of the pool.
