This photo was taken at a fishing port and that's why there are lines in the water. I'm not sure whether it would be better to edit out the lines or leave them. Any thoughts? I'm not sure if you can tag a person in the forum but this image was edited in a similar fashion to the Grand River, York image that Marko asked about earlier.

Janner - IMHO, I think they add to the composition of the photo. Nice clear water - good use of your CPL.

Yes, the water is beautiful on Manitoulin, I'm heading there in a few days and can't wait. I didn't use a filter for this shot.

I notice when I'm viewing my images on the site, they're not nearly as sharp as they look on my computer or when I upload them to other sites. Any ideas why? This one was sized 1024 x 680 859kb.
I found the answer on the forum and I've attached the correct sized image now

I used to fish for perch off the docks at Providence Bay. Used to go camping in the area lots. it IS a beautiful place.

Love that water. I agree with Randitola about the lines adding to the comp.

Beautiful image. Love the way the colour palette works in this shot moving from silver to bronze to gold to aqua.

Very nice Janner, and agree to leave the lines in as it adds to the story of what/where this beautiful scene is and what it is about.
(love the clear waters of Huron/Georgian Bay area).
