Anyone have any regular assignment suggestions or level 2 suggestions for June.

Here's a few

f/16 and smaller
Crossing lines (level 2)
Shades of green
Hands

Feel free to support any of those or suggest others. Suggestion w/most support by tomorrow becomes this month's theme.
Thx!

circles (true circles, not ovals)

Well circles seems like a good level 1 assignment to me, because as I'm looking around me I see hundreds of them right now. Then I think f16 and smaller would work great for level 2 assignment, I can think of some creative things to do with that.

I was thinking F8 and smaller...lol.

I think circles and hands were done last year - but I dont have a problem doing them again. Crossing lines could be fun and challenging. I also dont have a problem with f16 or greater.

A couple more ideas for the future may be low perspective/looking up. Another one I saw a couple of years ago that stimulates creativity is "pets eye view" (imagine a scene as viewed by a pet)

I really like the pets eye view also, that could be interesting.

I also like that low angle pets view - so that can be level 1 as it seems fairly accessible- and i think f16 or smaller could make a nice level 2.

merging posts now.

Thanks!

Hi members - suggestion posts are merged and the assignment this month is shooting from a low angle or from a pet's perspective.

Images fitting this theme should be posted right here in this very thread.
Ok then who will post first? Thx!

Level 2 assignment is here (http://www.photography.ca/Forums/level-2-photography-assignments/20375-june-2013-f-16-smaller.html).

This reminds me of a project I had in college 25 years ago. It had to be POV of a dog or cat. I set the camera in a litter box, made a fake turd, and got the cat to look directly into the camera.

I look forward to seeing this replicated for this thread.

Lovely image Jason and great start! (I might level it a hint, just a hint because then you'll need to crop dooger, as it slopes to the right)

Well, this thread is the pet's perspective so when I was visiting some friends last night I had an opportunity to photograph their pets... of course I ended up laying in awkward positions on the floor but I got a couple of shots... you tell me, was it worth it? :)

Going over my pre-flood photos, it seemed like these might fit the assignment. From Reader Rock Garden.
