These are both great and I like the SC choice here...works well.

I don't mind the SC, however I do find the colour a little over saturated.

Yeah, because after I turned off all saturation except blue and aqua, the imperfections of their paint jobs showed pretty bad, so I had to go back over with a matching paint in GIMP and fix their toenail polish.

Lol, it is a fun image. You should start compiling these to make into a photobook. LR and especially LR5 makes it easy to do now. It would be a great family keepsake.

Really like the way you are thinking with these more creative compositions. It adds another element to the photoshoot.
