It's interesting, I like it - might also look nice rotated 45 degrees clockwise so the leaf is upright.

Thanks Marko,

Your comment are always greatly appreciated.

I had thought about rotating but decided to leave it in the end. I like the sense of awkwardness almost like it was just barely hanging on but not ready to give up yet.

I have a picture in B/W "Hold Out" kind of the same thing.

You have a great site so Thank You for taking the time. I had given up on shooting but some how this site has slowly suck my in again.

Thanks.

I like the concept but as a silhouette it's way too busy for my liking. I think I'd have blurred the background far more by either post processing or the use of aperture or focal length in order to separate the leaf.

I would agree, the outline of the leaf is broken up by the busy background.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

I liked the feeling of everything around it was busy and chaotic and yet it was hanging on despite.
When I look at it again I do agree with the background comment as well, maybe have to run it thru a little post and see what comes out.

Still getting use to this film thing....... I still look at the back of the camera after a lot of shots... lol
