This was actually just a test shoot to see if my flash was going to fire. It is very noisy because I was still waiting for my camera to de-fog (just brought it out of the condo). My daughter placed her doll (I think she is going to walk down the isle with it) over to the side so she could get some portraits as well. I like it probably because of the meaning of the doll (Olivia, BTW)

I was VERY happy with the portraits I took at the beach last week with the off camera flash. I notice a big difference already

Nice set up. I commend you on getting out and giving this a go. I havent done much with off camera flash and you are inspiring me to do some more.

By the way the processing makes Olivia's skin look unnatural or plastic :laughing:

BTW, I did get a portrait of Morgan and Olivia, but it was also during the time my camera was fogged up (nearly clear), so this is the best I could do. I wasn't figuring on actually getting a portrait

Yeah, I know, but like I said, the camera was fogged up at that time and I was just playing around, so that's about the best I can do to save the image.

The original needs some pp of course, there's a colour issue there - but it is superior to your 'save' because your daughter looks less (sorry) artificial.
