Taken at Burnham on Sea in Somerset. This lighthouse stands on the beach and is a local landmark.
As always comments (and critiques) welcome.

I like the shadows created from the pillars and how the horizon is level and the nice orange colour particularly along the horizon line. However, I would like to see the horizon line moved down or even up a third (i.e., show either 2/3 of the sky or 2/3 of the sand.) Also I would think more contrast would add more interest. But I'm far from a pro so take it with a grain of salt.

I really like the backlighting and the way the shadows fan out from the lighthouse. To me it is really nice to see a softer lit sunset with wispy clouds (rather the glaring orange I often see with sunsets).
As you are looking for comments and critiques, I too would like to see a bit more sharpness (although I dont know if this the boards compression). I cant make up my mind about the central placement. Part of me likes it, but part wants the rule of thirds, but I dont know what I would suggest . Just wondering how a square aspect with the lighthouse on the right third would look???
But hey, it is a really nice shot, and these were just the random thoughts running through my mind when looking at it. Dont assign too much value to them.
