That is quite a dramatic sky, Marko! I believe I saw on FB you asked whether or not you should have included any of the city's skyline in the shot--unless there were some really magnificent buildings, I wouldn't bother-- this sky can totally stand on its own!

I love that dramatic sky. However, to me (unlike Jason) the sky just doesn't stand on it own. There just seems to be something missing.

Wow that is certainly some sky, and you have captured it beautifully, especially the graduation of the tones.

As to if it stands on it own - to be honest I cant decide, but lean to wanting something else in frame as well. I struggle with this myself when I see wonderful skies or sunsets and wonder if it is actually enough.

I've simply decided that it DOES stand on its own, lol.

Thx again for the comments. These were post storm clouds btw.

Great capture - love the cloud shapes and colours! The blue sky and calmer look to the clouds in the bottom of the image put it more in perspective - post storm - but if this was my shot, I think I would crop them out, leaving a panorama of the more dynamic top half, but that's just me.
