A nice little collection of the comings and goings around the seaway. I like that first shot ... has several interesting elements for me.

I had a look at these this morning and thought the same thing. The entire set is nice, but the first shot is strong in several ways. The vertical lines, soft colors, and motion of the wake breaking off the bow all come together wonderfully.

I agree but I'm leaning towards the second shot. While the first one is very cool, I just like the timing with the semi in the second shot and the big open space between it and the boat.

I like the truck boat juxtaposition image.

I think they all work equally well. The first has some interesting line work for sure. The second one is very well composed as everyone says in regards to truck/ship.
The third has some interesting depth/layers to it. The pleasure craft in the foreground vs the working ship, and the masses travelling across the bridge in the rearmost background.
That last one, I love the period attire that the people in the boat are wearing.

Hillbillygirl -many thanks for comments. The reenactors, like the people in the small craft are fun to photograph - they actually rowed that skiff about 15 miles to Upper Canada village.
