Hi everyone! I'm wondering what your thoughts are on this one. I've always liked well done B&W landscape shots (Adams Style), but I think it is usually very challenging since the original landscape is very colorful. So why take that away? This particular shot however is not very colorful. What do you think? Does it work? Does it need more contrast?

Thanks in advance!

It's a great shot, but to me, it is a little too gray. You don't have enough separation between the whites and blacks.

I agree. A black and white shot benefits from showing pure black and pure white in it. Helps to define the dynamic range of shades.
