Anyone got regular or level 2 assignment ideas for September?

Thx!

I was going to hang back a bit this month, but as there seems to be little activity to date here are a few that were suggested last month just to get the discussion started.

- Shooting into the light
- High perspective / looking down
- Recreating a famous photo

I like High perspective looking down for regular and shooting into the light for level 2.

works for me!

Two good ones. I'm in.

Works for me, too. If I can shake loose some time this month, at the least I can go back up Pump Road!

Suggestion posts have been merged and the regular assignment is High perspective - Looking down (thx RM!) and should be posted in this thread.

The level 2 assignment is here (http://www.photography.ca/Forums/level-2-photography-assignments/20928-september-2013-level-2-photography-assignment-shoot-into-light.html).

Ok then who will post first?

As soon as I saw this month's assignment, I knew where I was heading, the State Capitol Building

This is the garden in front of the State Capitol

And this is the site of the first campus of LSU in Baton Rouge. The original campus was in Pineville, LA. These barracks are still used by out of town legislators. They are called the Pentagon Barracks

Nicely timed and captured Iggy - dig the comp here as well!
If you wanted to make this sing louder, the bottom half of the pic as well as the 3 people on the bottom are quite flat. u may want to up the contrast.

Just under the wire. The lighting conditions were difficult. Anyway here's my attempt.
