Your image is beautiful. If I could make one comment it would be that the lines are leading me right to the city lights in the background. Cloning would be simple and for me it would enhance it a great deal.

Lovely image, Mike. :) That is looking towards the Louise Bridge, right? The river is definitely not the same.

Thanks for the comments. Missyinmuskoka, I completely agree with your comment and thought of it intially but I usually don't clone out features in my city landscapes, even though it may improve the composition. Jackie, no it's shot from near the Louise Bridge. That's the Crowchild Bridge in the background. The gravel island has changed for sure.

Another beautiful one Mike. I think I might agree with Missy about cloning out the bright spot in the city but would need to see it to know for sure.,

Since we be voicin' our opinions on the lights in the bkgd, :) I agree with your instinct mbrager not to clone out the lights. The lights are part of the 'reality' of the image, as are the buildings at the right. (though I do agree that removing the lights could focus the eye better). I might dodge the water in the foreground and midground a bit to have the eye linger there a bit longer. But you could easily send this to the framery as is imo.
