This is a sitting area at a local café. I like how the shadows fall on the deck.

Quite ice; if the two benches were what attracted you, maybe you could have cropped the image to show them off? I like those benches and their shadows as well, but would have given the image a good crop...

I am with Matt here. If you had been able to get down low near the corner of the shadow and filled the frame with the seats and shadows, or cropped as Matt suggested I think it may have been a bit more dynamic.

Also just a note about posting from Flickr. If you grab the BB code you can post the image directly into the thread rather than having the external link. I think you will find that more people will comment with the image showing in the thread. If you have any trouble with this let's know and I can provide more info.

Thanks for the input guys. I cropped the image as suggested and it does seem better. I'm not sure how to get this BB code though.18041

I'm not sure how to get this BB code though.

On your Flickr page for that particular photo look for the "more ways to share" button at the bottom right corner (It looks like a square with an arrow). Click that and then select "grab the HTML/BB code". That will open a small window. Click on the BBcode circle at the bottom. Select the size from the dropdown box (I normally use 800 or 1024). Click inside the box with the code. It will automatically select all the text. right click and "copy". You can return to the forum thread where you want to insert the image then right click and "paste". That should do it. (You dont use any of the "insert" buttons above the posting message box)
