I was just wondering if any of you guys ever get a chance to shoot any motorsports.

Back in my SLR days I used to a little. Some drag racing ... some touring car racing.

Only motorracing I've shot lately was a hillclimb for cars on bitumen and frankly it was quite boring.

I know what you mean. You have to be a dedicated enthusiast to really appreciate every form of motorsports there is out there. Otherwise, some of them can seem a bit mundane.

Many here follow NASCAR, but don’t care for the NHRA events. Lots of people go to the road courses for the bike races, but never go to the same tracks for the Rolex or LeMons cars. Boat racing is big in some areas, but not in others. For me, if it has an engine and they race it, I’ll be there if I can.

One thing is for sure, not many other events are as colorful as those in motorsports.

Well you are in the heart of Redneck Country ;) so it's no surprize you are a Nascar fan.

Drag cars and bikes certainly do have some awesome paintwork!
