View Full Version : That's some big gravel!

I'm beginning to think I'm simply incapable of finding new places for photos unless it's midday, bright, absolutely dry and clear, so that the light is coming from the wrong direction and harsh. We went for a drive, randomly picking directions. We ended up in the Celebration Park area, which is behind Melba.

This is supposedly gravel left behind by the Bonneville flood. All these years, I mistakenly thought they were called boulders.

It might not be primo light conditions but these are still very interesting. Looks like this is very cool country.

Glad I was able to show how interesting the place is. I googled the event that created the landscape. Apparently, there's been a couple of shows done on it, showing a recreation. Scary stuff.
