Mike had my old camera with him. He got a surprise visitor. She wasn't sitting still long, so I only got a half dozen shots total.

Thank you. I was hoping for an angle that would get both aviators in focus, but she took off when Mike couldn't maintain his position any more.

I hope Mike got some tips from the real aviator. He can then say "a little bird told him"

He's been flapping his arms really hard, but it doesn't seem to be working :) Maybe he didn't listen closely enough.

Thank you, Mike. Some of my best pictures have been accidental, so I agree with your sentiment.

Really like that first one with the Crossbill perched on the camera and Mike smiling. Really shows some interaction between the two.

That was one of the first ones. He was tickled, and was hoping I could get some better ones. She hopped on his hat, but didn't stay more than a second or two, and I just couldn't keep up with where she moved next.

Those are awesome! The first one is a real moment which totally outweighs perfection. :)

Thanks, Marko. Some good results from grabbing the camera and just driving. That'll teach Mike to announce he's feeling grumpy.
