Something blue - Selective coloring

Hmmmm.
Now the shot is all about the shoes versus the scene. The shoes imo, are not strong enough to carry the scene so for me, this doesn't work.
The scene (as currently framed) would be stronger without the selective colouring. The dress has a hint of a blue cast, I'd remove it if it were mine.

If you really want to make it about the shoes, since you are okay with editing images, here's 2 suggested crops that in no way respects the original ratio.
Just my 2 cents.
