On my trip to North Carolina from Toronto (yeah, that's about 15 hours of driving !) we stopped a relatively small number of times--once in West Virginia, where we looked for a swimming spot for a while before giving up. I did have about 5 minutes of exploring an old abandoned slab of industrial buildings before getting back on the road. Here is a grimy black and white of one of the facades.

Nice atmospheric shot. Looks like it could be an interesting place to explore. I like the processing here

Thanks Runmonty ! Processed in LR with raised black output (left node of the curve) a severe negative exposure gradient on the ground to tame the mid-afternoon light hitting the pavement, and slight dodging and burning for those keeping score.
