Money talks around here as none of the "cottagers" want their views of the elegant woods and lakes ruined so this is what they are given as cell towers as to "blend in" with the natural surroundings. It is quite cool actually.

But then again here is a sample of what many many "cottages" are going for, and look like here.:headslap: So if you spend that kind of money I guess you do deserve to make some ridiculous demands.

Um, they've got a different definition of cottage than I do. The cell phone tower doesn't actually look too bad. In Boise, the companies worked with the Boise Shakespeare Festival, trying different shades of paint so the towers would blend with the sky, so it wouldn't be noticeable from the theater (it's an outdoor one). So it's not just your neck of the woods.

That is cool QO. Love the outdoor theatre and the idea of disguising the towers. They def are an eye-sore on a beautiful landscape.
As for "cottages". There are some quaint original cottages still to be found in Muskoka, but few and far between anymore, especially on the "big three" lakes. Most are quite large lavish large "homes" imo, but are cottages to the owners.

That is so cool. I didn't know they did that. Thanks for sharing.
