Photography Shows / Events in Western Canada

Looking for a photography show & sale, convention, or other event like that. Hopefully in Alberta (or Saskatchewan as I'm a stone's through from the AB-SASK border). I noticed there was a big photography event in Toronto recently and from time to time see information about other events. There was one at McBains camera in Edmonton not that long ago - missed it, which I could have made it. I was tempted to go to one of the Home & Garden events at Northlands when I noticed Nikon had a booth (or was that the Sportsman Show - can't recall which). Didn't make that one either.

I seem to recall something about a big camera event in Calgary in the fall.

Just enjoy these sort of things. If they are anything like the big model railway shows I go to they are a great day out and worth the drive (I'm three hours north of Edmonton, so it must be worth the drive).

Check out The Camera Store. They generally have a big event in the fall but also host many ongoing courses. Click on the logo at the bottom of this page. ;)

I went there - sadly these are all for seminars - which I probably could benefit from - only one really peaked my interest and was anywhere near the budget I'd pay for a seminar, and I cannot make that date. I would have expected any big community photo event would be on that page - or am I misunderstanding that page - maybe it is just to promote seminars they sell.
