I have had these older studio flashes for a couple years and have just been using them as a slave flash. I am trying to figure out what do I need to get to make them sync with my camera.

Any idea?

The sync cords are about 3 feet (1 meter) long, and the ends look like this (three prong goes in the body of the flash

There is another 12 foot cord (4 meters) with ends that look like this

and here is the back of the flash

Cactus triggers work well with my strobes. You set one up as a receiver attached to the strobe and one as as a transmitter on the camera. The other strobe is set as a slave and it all works pretty nifty. They are around 100$ for a set so not crazy expensive. They have a couple of different attachments to connect to the studio strobes so maybe will fit with yours.

Here is what you get:
Amazon.com : Cactus V5 Wireless Flash Trigger : Photographic Lighting Slave Remote Triggers : Camera & Photo (http://www.amazon.com/Cactus-V5-Wireless-Flash-Trigger/dp/B005DFI5ZY)

I've seen similar wires - why won't the 3 pronged one work?

Yeah, I now have wireless studio flashes!!!! The three pronged cables did work. I just had to buy 4 Yongnou triggers
