Hey everyone, been a while but with the nice weather we have been putting the miles in on the trails and enjoying it. Here's one of my latest shots which I think is one of my best as far as getting the mood of the scene that exploded in front of us. We have a back story on our blog about it if you are interested- Southern Scenic Photography | Riding Out the Storm (http://tinyurl.com/ojx9t5k)

Such a beautiful capture, and such a wonderful narrative to go with it. Thanks for sharing this special family moment with us. Btw, love the title as it fits it all so well.

Thanks. I think you are the first person to mention the title correlation!

Beautiful shot, even more impressive that it was done with a 10 month old in tow!

Thanks. He's a real trooper. Loves being outdoors and already is working on a couple hundred miles of cruising the trails around the Smokies. Living up to his namesake latest being Ansel Ian.
