Back at the MK Nature Center. Frankly, it's been too hot to be out. I can't blame the butterflies for not being enticed, and I question the beetle's sanity. (I didn't do too badly with that one, considering I was holding a lower leaf to keep the milkweed from being blown around while holding camera and body onehanded)

And teasels. Because they look cool and have a cool name.

#'s 4 & 5 of first set, with an agreement with JAS on 5 being the winner.

Thanks, Jas and HBG. If the weather will cool down a bit, I might go back to see what's blooming now. Otherwise? Well, OK, I'll go back, but I won't wander as much.

I missed these first time around. The beetle looks like it is posing for you. Liking a lot of these but will vote for #5 as well. Nice set

I there is something special about that very last one. I really like the simplicity of it on the black background.
