Shot this last year (http://www.photography.ca/Forums/architecture-man-made-cities-buildings-roads-objects-abstracts/20674-montreal-sky-july-19-2013-a.html), discovered it today. Feel free to comment on or critique any aspect.
Thx!

I've thought about photographing a sunset around here once in a while when I've seen an awesome sky but didn't bother because the foreground was crap since I couldn't get to any place special. Turns out I could have just photographed the sky and maybe I would have ended up with a shot as cool as this. Nice work, my friend.

Looks like a view from within the clouds themselves. Beautiful Marko.

Beautiful colors on the clouds. Must've had a high vantage point - did you crop it, or were you in the air at the time?

Really appreciate the comments.
These images were made after a wicked-cool rain/thunderstorm and the clouds and colours were bananas. (13 months later -still the best to date that I've captured - and trust me I keep hunting.) The images were shot from a 3rd floor balcony that I have access to. I don't think they were cropped (much).
thx again!

I'm like Iggy. I've seen some awesome sunsets but haven't taken a pic as I'm in the city with boring foregrounds. Perhaps I should try it.

thanks again everyone.
Imo, usually cloud images are better with foreground interest...except when the sky is so spectacular that you can actively frame an interesting portion of it that works. It is much harder to do (well) than it looks.
(Btw - got a decent one again just last night :) will post it later today/tomorrow.)
