That is a nice shot. Next up though is to get one from the other side so you can see her face and not the back of her head :)

I would love to but the way the fields are set up, I would have to stand on another field to use my 70-200, and there are always other games going on. I could use my wide angle 14-50 (or what ever it is) but I like these close ups of her.

Really nice timing, gesture and comp here.
The close ups are good, but I'm with Iggy, the backs of people can almost never compete with the fronts of people for impact.
There are times when your position is fixed...but if you can move around and get front angles....we'd like to see them :)

I agree it would be much better if we could have seen her face. Dumb question .... don't they change ends at half time. As a result in the other half wouldn't you get a picture with her facing you when she takes a shot.

I am sitting on the side lines, right at midfield and she plays forward, so I would still grab her back side if they are going the other way. I do walk to the end behind the goal to get so head on shots, but they are not shot on goal shots.

Excellent clarity, and separation of the action from the background. You can really see that "I am going to make this one count" here.

Funny thing is, as wide open she is here (goalie was just off frame), she missed the shot!!! She kicked it wide left. She scored about two minutes after this image and I missed it, so I told her this was the picture of her goal. LOL!!!
