Good morning Michael.
I was browsing through your post and admiring your landscapes, then came across this.
I don't usually reflect on photos in a negative way but this is the limit.
Cat photos belong on FB not in a fine art photo forum.
As for cats, they belong in any of the following places:
Inside a dog
Down a toilet.......

Edited by Admin - Change your tone or go find another forum. There are plenty of other forums that have people attacking each other and this won't become one of them.

WOW! NO, you do NOT need go on, or ever come back here, IMO! You are a real piece of work there Tom. You may not be a cat lover, but there is no need for the brutal, and very inappropriate condoning of animal abuse that you have written in this. If this is the kind of man you are, (and I use the term "Man" very loosely here), I do so hope that the powers that be delete your rantings, and if not, then I find this not to be the place for me to hang my hat anymore.
Sorry for my rantings everyone, but I, and I hope this goes for all else here, cannot, or will not be a part of something such as this foolishness.
While you are at it Tom, maybe you would like to check out Marko's pics of his beautiful family members also. Oh, btw this would be Marko's other site for your enjoyment. http://www.pets.ca/about-pets-ca/

YES, I AM an animal lover.

Dear Hillbillygirl.
I make no comment in my defense. You are right. I am a"piece of work". So are a large number of people who live in my vicinity. You see, cats (mostly domestic and still "owned and cared for' by their animal loving owners or neglected and released or dumped because their kids outgrew their cuteness) in the National Parks surrounding me have and continue to devastate the wildlife. Birds, small mammals, reptiles, amphibians and the like continue to struggle for their very existence because of the plagues of domestic animals that have penetrated the wilderness and either live there or visit when their owner isn't watching.
Both the indigenous and non-indigenous population are at constant battle with these feral animals and their previous owners as well as the 'animal lovers' who would prefer to pat a pet and let it run freely during the night than maintain a decent gene pool in our natural habitats.
It may seem brutal to some. Some change their mind when they see the damage a single cat can make in one evening on the run and I'm not even considering the crap they leave behind or the smell they spray up my doorway. That may be their sense of justice. Who can tell with a cat or dog?
My language may seem strong and harsh to you. That is because it matches my passion for wildlife. That passion does colour my words somewhat. That's more me blowing off steam and being somewhat sarcastic. Not everyone will find my colourful manner of expression to their taste. That's the breaks. I win some; I loose some. Just as it is when an unattended cat or dog crosses my sanctuary and take aim with a brick or broom handle.
That's my reality. Feel free to visit.

I noticed you are a Canon owner. How's that for you?

This forum has been up for over 10 years Tom and welcomeness and friendliness is the mantra here. Our community is made up of a colourful cast of characters, much like yourself..BUT..

Only once have I banned someone for being rude and having an attitude that does not gel with the rest of our community.

I would guess very few people would like your colourful expression when it comes to bashing other people's work........you will 100% lose this one. This may be poorly related sarcasm but you are a new member. Please drastically change this sarcastic tone and attitude or you will need find yourself another place (which you say you are looking for) to hang out.
