I was at Sleeping Giant Park over the Labour Day weekend doing some astronomy presentations, but this early morning guest decided to drop by and hang out with me for about 20-30 minutes. After determining that he wasn't going to be getting any food from me, he slowly wandered over to a nearby tree and curled up for a rest

This first one I seem to have messed up the focus point and got my shoes nice and clear:o

What a cool opportunity. Numbers 3 and 4 are pretty cool. Hindsight is 20/20 and I hope you don't mind me saying so but I think ISO 6400 was in order for a slightly faster shutter speed.

What a very nice set - nice shooting. I am suprized at how people tolerant the fox is.

They tend to be a little more "domesticated" in the parks...the unfortunate side effect of people feeding them in most cases. I gotta admit...I really had to fight the urge to throw him some scraps, but was able to resist knowing the great dis-service I would be serving him if I did.

Thx Ig...as always, I am open to great tips and constructive critique....That's why I'm part of this fantastic community.

So cute, and love the shoes shot, and that second last one.

We have one out on one of the islands that is like this. Wanders the property like he owns it.

Cool set, and yeah, they get really domesticated. A guy Mike knows says he went hunting a couple of years ago. The guys who were at the campsite he took over said there was a fox that showed up every night to be fed. He figures it's a waiting for scraps to be tossed then outta there situation. Nope, the fox comes into camp that evening, sits down next to the fire and looks at him expectantly. He put down a plate of food, the fox ate it and left. Showed up every night at the same time the rest of the time he was there. If I was a fox, I'd figure this was easier than hunting, too.

Why does this fox speak out loud in George Clooney's voice? Great set! :)
