1. Well...got tired of trying to wait for a break in the cold...here is my attempt at Comet C/2014 Q2 (Lovejoy). Nikon D3100, Tamron 200mm-500mm. 6 sec @ f/6.3 ISO 12800, 200mm. Kinda wish I had an autotracker..

2. Went out in -20C weather to shoot Comet Lovejoy and figured I'd also shoot some other astronomicalities whilst I was out. Here we have Jupiter and three of her moons
