Further to my comments here http://www.photography.ca/Forums/suggestions-improvements/22988-challenge-accepted-assignment.html#post157838

I would be intrigued to see what members can do processing this shot. It isn't a brilliant shot, but someone may be able to make something more from it. This is taken straight from the raw file. Either copy the shot below or alternatively the 26Mb raw file can be downloaded here. https://www.dropbox.com/s/4z8nts1n5brgyqh/20150107-_MG_8758.CR2?dl=0

Be as brutal, imaginative, destructive as you like.

I am looking forward to seeing some great variety

Ok. I have something in mind. I'm at work but when I get off in 9 hours, I will knock it out.

Cool stuff AT.

I have done a couple of versions, but will hold off posting them in case anyone decides they want to play too.

Looking forward to seeing yours Marko. Any other players?

There probably isn't any reason for me to hold mine back, so here are a couple that I did.

fine attempts so far - Here's my interpretation. I think I overdid the burn at top right but I only spent 5 min here.
In addition I upped the scale and burned the fields and dodged the sky a tad at left and the white clouds at right. also sharpened a bit.
Hope that may help

Another nice interpretation Marko.

This photo is crying for HDR processing because of the stark contrast between the light and dark areas, in addition to the exceptional amount of detail available in all the areas. I used EasyHDR with only one photo and Lightroom. I overdid the contrast in the clouds. AT's version cloning out some haystacks made me laugh. But I did like the sepia toning.

Cool MB.

Yes I wanted too emphasise the contrast in the sky too, thus my very strong processing.

I did actually take bracketed shots if you wanted to play with proper HDR. Personally I felt it didn't need HDR processing as the darks and lights still had enough detail to not need it?

Hi,
This is my effort. More like an interpretation than an improvement.
