In 2003 I bought my first Focus (Yes the one that was for sale for $84,000.00 in my silly Dorothy video) That black beast served me well for 10 years, never a complaint, never an issue. video link for those who missed it LINK (http://www.redzonefilms.com/pics7/prariesqt.mov)

OK...So the prairies killed the old girl and she started to die no matter how many trips to the vet I took her on. Finally all she was good for was a trade. The next Focus was a blue one, very stylin indeed and out to the prairies we headed for I knew she was to young to die. As I recall Matt K just sort of shook his head in disbelief that I had spent so much on this car when I could of had a Volkswagen. He never understood how a Focus roots its way into your whole system making them impossible to resist. I loved this car to the point of getting blisters from washing it too much LOL! I never fully got used to the transmission though, quirky at best. Not saying it was no good but it didn't allow me to drive it my way. Dual clutch shifting is fine for my Ma but I like better response on those twisty mountain roads we have here.

She was a great car but the tranny was eating at me every day I drove it and I began to succumb to a little voice in my head "ST....Get the ST... You know you want it...Get it" I shook off the little voice for a year and a half but one night my x brought me a bottle of Mexican tequila back from Merida and my argument with the little voice drowned...I sold the blue bomb. I actually felt bad when I handed over the keys to her new owner, as I walked away I thought I heard her little voice saying " Please don't go....I'll try harder honest I will...Come back!!!!" It was too late and with a slight tear in my eye I walked off to find a Ford Dealer for I knew the Focus I wanted was just a sales order away.

Now this is a car for a drivin man even if Matt K is shaking his head. Sorry Matt...Volkswagen makes nothing like this. And why do I know this was the right decision? Gas prices started to slump the day I brought it home and it has a powerful thirst for gas...You see, God wanted me to own this beautiful machine! what more can I say

ETA: There was no intentional slandering of anyone's God in this post....In my book all Gods are equally useless.

Well, shiiiit, I recently had $84,000 with nowhere to spent it and to think I could have bought a Focus with a "past'. Ha! Ha! Love the colour of the new one though!
