I'm a newfie, have roots 11 generations down from the rock. I'd hate to see anything like that happen.

First thought was, some people have positions of power that go to their head... I would hate to see our country seperate. I don't think it would do any good..but then again - I'm no pro when it comes to politics and such.

Nope! Have you taken a gander at the Middle East lately? The biggest sandbox in the world, and there still isnt enough room. Africa is the same way as well.
