This morning my wife and I headed down the beach again and while she practiced her stuff with our short focal length lens I wandered around annoying the piss out of the local gulls ;)

I decided it was 'get a gull flying day' ...

:D Sorry no on the tanned legs, we have to cut out too many sun spots this side of the world. It really was funny watching him walk up and down for what seemed like an hour chasing the poor gulls, they will sleep well tonight.

I'll wear pants to bed ... that should cut down on some sunlight ;)

I didn't realise I was out on the wall chasing those gulls for so long :D

Thanks Kiley. I took over 300 shots and kept about 30 I suppose.

Nope he thought I was taking the birds, but I only had a 24-70 so they were a little too far away to get good shots. So I took a few shots of the big bird chasing the little ones.

I love the gull flying shots! Did you use flash on most of those? A star filter in picture 3 of post 2? I like the high key shots LeAngel took as well :)

Yes, as you can see in Leanne's shots I did have the flash attached, and yes I was using it.
We were in very early, harsh light, so shadows were everywhere, the flash a necessity. Many of those are taken at 800 ISO with the flash as well.

Thanks, the sky was crappy being so bright that time of the morning, but I thought it was worth taking the shot just to show you guys.
