Nice play Randitola - it's something I always wanted to try but haven't yet.
Shot 1 for me

The effects are great here. In addition to the flying sparks etc (which are always cool), the ground you are sanding on is superb for providing some texture and reflections. That aspect sets these apart from others I have seen in this style.

Do you soak the steel wool in anything or does it burn that easily?

#1 for me BTW, great shot!!!

Burns very easily. You can actually light it with a 9V battery (have this in my camping gear) Once it is smoldering and you start spinning it around the light show begins!

I've always wanted to try some in bicycle spokes at speed. That would be cool, but I expect there'd be a price to pay for a stunt like that.

Would be super fun for the observer(s)....super cool idea (or warm if your the rider)

Fun play. Looks like it could be dangerous if you didn't know what you were doing.

Yes it could very well be dangerous. I should add that I was very diligent in my PPE - flame resistant hat, jacket, gloves, Safety goggles and fire extiguisher....and a touch of common sense (not doing this in the middle of a dry forest for instance ;)

An excellent eye catching series, beautifully executed.

Way cool play! Love 'em. My favourite is also number 1. I've thought of trying something like this myself but never seem to get around to it.
