How to achieve this look?

I know this isn't desired by a lot of people; but for the purpose of a shoot I want to do- can anyone help me with how to achieve something similar to this? Super smooth skin and the colours/ dewy look?? I know it's "over edited" but if anyone has any tips that would be cool... This is the link to the photograph ( and yes I know ... It's Kylie Jenner .. But this is the only photo I can find that really shows what I want to capture. )

Hi there meaghan!

Although this image looks cool, for me this is not photography because you cannot capture it in your camera. No photographer on planet earth capture this in camera because portraits of humans...still look human. This is mixed media, not photography.

If you do want to try to do something similar...

1 - hire a make-up artist
2 - Shoot a tight headshot where you crop into the hand.
3 - Post process the image so that it looks like a non human comic book/anime like character. (Maybe others on this board might know which software/pluggin/filter set created this)

Personally unless you are a seasoned photographer trying to get into mixed media....stick with traditional processing, it will stand the test of time.

Just my opinion, no intention to offend.
