My first serious attempt at doing something like this, action at night. The 45MM 1.8 proved its worth to me. I think they came out 'acceptable'. The young lady was ecstatic when she saw them. It's so rewarding seeing the happiness of someone that you've done something for just for the reason of doing it for them and not for monetary gain.

Some great shots, #2 for me. They are all noisy, so I may try doing an artistic edit to them (to hide the noise).

There is a group of fire dancers here in BR that I shot a couple times.

Thanks AT for viewing and commenting. Noise at this level is pretty much a non-issue with me as it wasn't an issue with the young lady. She loved them and that is the main concern. I did add some NR to them but would much rather have some noise than loss of detail due to over NR. I appreciate your time to view and comment.

love this - shots 2 and 3 for me. Noise doesn't bug me in the least here.

In fact the noise gives a nice grainy effect imo.

I agree. When it's Street, one should embrace the grain

Excellent work on the whole set Lorey. Love #2, and 3.

As for the noise. What noise? All I see is some amazing night action captures, with great detail.
