This is a high school football stadium about 30 minutes south of me. It is built right in the middle of a sugar cane field

Great shot AT and great title, it is reminiscent of the movie. I really like the composition and the B&W works well too.

Thanks Run, it had to be B/W because there was very little color.

Here is the stadium from the other direction. The sugar cane had already been harvested. If you don't know sugar cane, it grows to about 3-4 meters. The image above, I am across the street, standing on a small hill.

It doesn't have the same feel with the cane missing.

I like this one too, but prefer the first. In my opinion it seems smaller in the frame emphasizing the remoteness.

.......although on reflection I do like seeing the 2 sets of stands, and the silhouettes of people in the second shot
