I just wanted to apologize if anyone was looking for me over the last couple of weeks. I was a bit distracted by my interest in karate. That's me in the last row, right hand side just after testing in Toronto.

I especially like that the official's formal portraits have formal jackets and ties and ........socks?. I suppose you cant blame them.....the rest of you are there in your robes :laughing: (notice I am only brave enough to say that with the safety of a few thousand miles of ocean between us)

Thanks, everyone! Yes, I was testing for yondan (4th degree black belt) in Chito Ryu karate and I managed to be successful. Front row centre is Sensei Shane Higashi, 9th degree - Saiko Shihan. The rest are various levels from 4th (after grading) to 7th (the other suits).
