If you want me to explain the concept i'm more than happy to do it,but i will leave it at your own interpretation for now and i am open and accepting constructive criticism.Thank you and have a great day!

wow. this is one of the images that I saw on your Flickr page that immediately caught my eye.

Firstly I am no art critic and feel a little out of my depth commenting on this, but I do love it.

The use of light is wonderful and you have set this up very well. I like the warm tones that work well with the general scene. Light and shadow I love. Vignette suits this perfectly. The natural framing created by the door frame and the picture frame is a clever way defining the edges of the image and I believe it is no accident and displays to me a real mastery of this craft

It is not immediately obvious what is going on and that is a good thing as it makes me think more deeply and consider the relationship between the 2 versions of the woman (you???).

I sense a real vulnerability to the version of the lady on the left (past?) and a certain trepidation to the search of the main character on the right. The character on the right being in focus and the one on the left not quite being in focus creates a separation from the past and the present (by my interpretation).

I have only positive things to say about this. I am not sure if any of those ad-hoc comments help, and would love the hear the concept you are thinking of after some others have commented on this.

Please, please keep posting. I am loving your work and you have a new follower on Flickr. Do you have formal training in fine art?

RM gives excellent comments.

I just wanted to add that this image is extremely well crafted. I love the composition and exposure.
I would be proud if I had made this image. It feels like a modern fairy tale of some kind.

The only things I might consider changing if this were mine are negligible...but I might dodge the face of the candle holding woman by 10-15%. I'd also consider burning her sleeve by about 10% and her skirt by about 5%

I'd love to see more.

Thank you for your time!!! And yes,Runmonty has it right with the concept behind this image. I sometimes am in doubts if i am able to materialise my ideas in a comprehensive way to the viewers.Yes,its me in both instances and its a great achievement i think,if is not right away understood the image. The lack of focus on the left one intended to create the idea of past, and the one from right is searching for the lost one, trying to get her back to present.
I dont have formal training in fine arts,i am just pretty melancholic ( to say the least) person and i love photography, therefore while i try to make order inside my thoughts and feelings,i want to share it with others so they know that the struggles are more than common.
Marko, thank you as well for your comment, you might be right with dodging some parts and burning others in order to create even more dramatic scene but i feared i would stretch the rope, sometimes i have such tendencies to overdo something and its gets pretty bad. I did learn that less is more :D.
I thank you for your comments and wish you great sunday^^ !

I can't add to the excellent comments already made by RM and Marko but I can say that I love this image. Superbly well done.
