Would anyone care to give my Smugmug a critique? Anything I should absolutely kick out?

Do you want us to comment of the design - or just the images you included?

As far as my humble opinion goes, both site and galleries are great...
What seems as touch too much is click needed after selecting a gallery...
Both when i first saw link, and now, it took me few moments to realize that one photo is cover/static and that i need to click on it to actually see photos in that gallery...
It seems to me that after selecting a category, on the right gallery, rather then that cover, comes out...

I looked at the website and immediately recognized many of your images, for which I have a lot of admiration, in terms of both composition and post-processing. I agreed with Moghrion's comment above, that the site navigation isn't ideal. I looked at it on my iPad and the home page navigation disappears entirely sometimes. This might be a Smugmug problem that you can't do anything about.
My other thought is that the way you frame and sign your photos isn't consistent, even within sections. I find this distracting when "shopping" because I have to take how the frame and signature will look, in addition to the photo itself.
I did enjoy browsing however, and hope the site is a success for you.

Thanks guys, I agree, the Smug mug template is awkward. I did a couple of things to try and make negotiating the site a little easier. And reapplied settings that should be there and were not. For instance shopping was supposed to be off as well as downloading because it is not intended as a purchasing site.

Ahh sorry for not responding sooner -

My comments were much like the guys before me in that i really dig the pix but found things design wise that bugged my eye.
Now that it's been a few days though I see it's much better navigation wise for me (on my home computer at least).

One thing that's still weird design wise is that when you click on an enlarged image it takes you to the page that the image is on....but that image is not first and so the flow gets lost.
My expectation is that I'm going to get more info on that particular image. Don't know if that's fixable.

Hope that helped

Sorry Jas, I have been overseas and haven't had a chance to comment

In general I really like it. The design and layout works and is attractive to me. I found the navigation fine. Every website is different and require some thought to find navigate and I didn't think it was more difficult than most photography sites. The content is all fine and the grouping of shots is logical and works for me.

The only thing I question is the "tags". I am not sure they add value and could confuse navigation (contrary to what I said above :headslap:)

I would put more pictures on the website. I like the simplicity.

Thanks,
