If the maximum megapixel of my computer is 12 megapixel and my camera is 24 megapixel what will appear in this forum? What is the maximum megapixel of a DVD. Where can I buy a DVD which has 24 megapixel. If I use clikpic to organize my website, can I put my pictures in a DVD which has 24 megapixel using a computer with 24 megapixel and paste my pictures in clikpic website to create maximum megapixel. Pardon my English but I am so frustrated that my computer has only 12 maximum megapixel. Many thanks to you guys for the feedback.

Is that your computer's Camera? I do not use Clicpic but I would say yes. You do not want to load a full size photo on this forum though. Let me see if I can find instructions for you. Most of us use flickr to upload from as it is free and easy to use.

How to post a photo from Flickr to the forum:

Welcome to the forum. Your question is hard for me to understand. I don't think you mean the maximum megapixel of my computer is 12 megapixel. Computer capacity is usually measured in terms of memory size, bytes, megabytes, gigabytes, terabytes for both random access memory and storage memory. Similarly with DVD capacity, measured in bytes.
Megapixel refers to the number of pixels in a photo, the number of light collecting points. If you are shooting in RAW without processing the photo in camera, one full size photo might take up about 1 gigabyte of memory. But if you aren't shooting RAW, but rather jpeg, the photos are much smaller. Usually a modern desktop or laptop computer would have no problem displaying and processing either type of image. If you are connected to the internet, why do you need DVDs to upload images to Clikpic? Generally you would have to convert your photo files to jpeg format to upload to your Clikpic website, which most computers should be capable of doing. You seem to have successfully uploaded some photos to this forum already, so you seem to know much of this already. We are happy to help you if you can clarify what is puzzling you a bit further.
Cheers.

Sir, it got to do with the sharpness and clarity. A 24 megapixel picture exudes sharpness and clarity. How can I exude if the 'maximum megapixel capacity of my computer is '12 megapixel'. A 24 megapixel picture on a 30" x 40" would not exude that kind of sharpness and clarity if the 24 megapixel is done on a 10" x 12". If you are still confused, let the matter rest. Thank you !

Thanks. I am beginning to understand a little better now. This article How Big Can You Print with Your Camera's Megapixels? (http://improvephotography.com/34880/how-big-print-with-megapixel-camera/) would indicate that you can print at 30X40 with a 24 megapixel camera. To me this would hold true as long as you are not compressing the image or cropping excessively. I don't think the computer is the problem in limiting the ultimate quality of your photos, but your printer and the software you are using.
