View Full Version : Lesson Learned, don't photograph indoor rodeos

These are from a rodeo at the Lamar Dixon Center in Gonzales. Major lesson learned, don't try to shoot an indoor rodeo at high speed. Even at max ISO (25K), they were under exposed one stop and of course were very grainy. Only way to salvage the images was to make BW and majorly reduce noise, and add grain.

excellent processing choice given the situation.
Rodeo 5 and 6 are my faves of the set.

They came out quite well I think. Old B&W rodeo pics that I have seen of Stampede don't look much different. 6 is my fave as well.

Wow, ISO 25600. Where can you get film like that? :)

Yeah, numbers 5 and 6 are my favs out of the set as well. Photographing any kind of sport like that is freakin' tricky.
