For days now i see reports about fires, from your part of the world..

Thanks for asking, but as far as I know, no one from this forum is from Fort McMurray, the city in Northern Alberta that was caught in the huge wildfire and has been completely evacuated of more than 80000 residents. Many of those people have come to Edmonton and Calgary, the largest cities in the province, or dispersed elsewhere. The fire continues to burn and residents have not been allowed to return to Fort McMurray but eventually people whose houses have not been damaged will return. A lot depends on the weather and the winds.
