I have thick skin, I need to know what I need to improve on. I know I need to get off F/2.8. I usually shoot in TV, adjusting to the amount of movement is being shot, so I do need to up my ISO o get the F-stop closed some.

This image was taken from outside, shot through a doorway, so I was not able to capture her tail. The door jams are just on the outsides of the images

I'll have a go.
1 - it's an okay shot for me.
Feels like a dog in a bar...but we are missing the additional elements in the shot to give it a sense of place. The bar stool is nice but it's so big and shiny that it competes with the dog versus complementing the dog.
2 - Strong image (but images with similar themes and identical comps are very very common). Feels underexposed by about half to a full stop....
3 - my fave of the set - tatoos and art scene compliment the book title - nice gesturing albeit subtle. My only suggestion here might be to try a version with 2 inches hacked off the top to give it a squarer feel. I say this because all that blank white space (especially the left side) bugs me a wee bit. Or I might burn in the white by 15%-20%....... and see how it looks.

Hope that may help
